Fabric Lamination

Lamination involves the machine bonding of a textile fabric of your choice along with a preformed backing layer. This results in a stiffened fabric suitable for applications such as roller blind use.

We are able to make made-to-measure roller blinds by laminating your own curtain fabric, where suitable. The fabric needs to be free from flaws and, wherever possible, rolled on a cardboard tube. It is also important that sufficient fabric is provided for manufacturing.

If the size ordered is wider than the fabric width, two pieces will be required fir joining, which we will do in the most appropriate way. Please take care to make sufficient allowance for pattern matching and add a further 15" (38cm) to the drop size to accomodate the roller and bottom pocket, plus a further 15" (38cm) if a shaped finish is required. Please ensure that you also indicate top and bottom of fabric as this is not always obvious,
